This Keto Fried Rice is one of the most common keto recipes, and it goes without say that it is ment to substitutes that legendary dish “Chinese fried rice”

Keto diet or ketogenic diet is a diet plan that completely cuts of carbs intake, and more than doubles the fat intake in any given day. As scary as it sounds – there is multiple evidence that this diet process works- particularly in the short run.

INGREDIENTS:

) Cauliflower,1 medium head

) 1 tbsp sesame oil

) 2 large egg

) Garlic  Powder

) Salt & pepper

) 3 tbsp Soya Sauce

) 1/2 small onion, diced fine

) 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1: Wash & chop some cauliflower into florets

STEP 2: Place the florets in a food processor and grind till the cauliflower is minced (should replicate the look & texture of boiled rice)

STEP 3: Heat the sesame oil in  a large non stick pan over medium heat

STEP 4: Add the diced onions and fry for about a minute

STEP 5: Add the peas and carrots and fry for another 2 minutes

STEP 6: Push the cooked vegetables to one side of the pan

STEP 7: Combine the eggs  in a small bowl and beat it with a egg beater or fork. [ OPTIONAL: Add a pinch of salt if needed ]

STEP 8: Pour the eggs into the empty side of the pan and scramble (make sure that it does not get mixed into the vegetables)

STEP 9: Once the eggs are fully cooked and scrambled, then mix it into the vegetables and fry the whole mix for about 20 to 30 seconds

STEP 10: Add the minced cauliflower ( cauliflower rice) to the mix

STEP 11: Add the soya sauce, garlic powder, salt & pepper- and  give it a good mix

STEP 12: Let cook for about 5 to 6 minutes (keep mixing every 1 minute)

STEP 13: Transfer the mix onto a plate and serve
